The new website of the Graduate Program in Biology of Infectious Agents and Parasitological (PPGBAIP) at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) is now available. The page was developed from a standard template, using usability and portability criteria.

Doctoral candidate Rosmery Macedo, of the graduate program in biology of infectious agents and Parasitological (BAIP), received the Ernst Mayr Travel Grant in Animal Systematics, on the last day 16. The prize is awarded biannually by Harvard University of the United States.
In an interview with reporter Ana Lucia Azevedo (the Globe), the researcher Dr. Pedro Vasconcelos, permanent lecturer PPG BAIP, talks about the latest findings on the Zika virus, as epidemiological aspects, transmission and vector control, as well as the association with microcephaly cases in Brazil.
