The nucleation capacity of PPGBAIP is remarkable, since graduates of the Program systematically participate in Post Graduation latu sensu and stricto sensu in public and private teaching and research institutions. The actions of incentive to the training of human resources, promoted by PPGBAIP, arouse the interest of alumni, including Young Permanent Professor, in the contribution in other Graduate Programs.

In addition to this aspect highlighted above, the cooperation between the UFPA and other Universities and Research Centers of the State of Pará and other states of the Amazon is historical, and from these agreements, through the guidance of Master and Doctorate. However, our group has effectively stood out in recent years by partnering with other higher education institutions and Graduate Programs, which functioned as the headquarters for cooperation projects.

However, due to the effective influence, faculty scientific development and systematic search by other institutions, including from other states, it is possible to highlight the success of the following partnerships formed in previous years.

Qualification of Technicians, Professors and Researchers from other States

In partnership with public and private institutions, the Program carried out the training of professors, laboratory technicians and professionals in the Biological and Health Sciences area of several Brazilian states in the period from 2011 to 2015, through the Master's and Doctorate's orientation. During this period, the Program trained 19 masters and 12 doctors.

In 2017, as part of PROPESP's initiatives in disseminating the Graduate course for campuses in the countryside of the state of Pará and other states, PPGBAIP began the planning of class opening in the municipality of Soure, covering Salvaterra and Cachoeira of Arari (all members of the Marajó Archipelago) with the objective of training the human resources formed by the undergraduate courses available in that area.

Furthermore, since its grade increased to level 6, there is an expectation of an interinstitutional cooperation project in which PPGBAIP will promote the consolidation of Graduate Programs, and stimulate the scientific-academic interaction in order to constitute cooperation networks, with the development of new research lines within the Graduate Programs with lower grades, contributing to the regional balance of Brazilian post-graduation, besides expanding the training of masters and doctors and academic scientific production.

Reestructuring of Internal Regiment of the Program

Following the recent restructuring of the Internal Regiment of the Program, integrated actions between students and professors that result in the preparation and execution of workshops and courses are now part of the compulsory content for high school and undergraduate students who are potential students of the Program. It is hoped that with these measures, in addition to disseminating the scientific knowledge generated from research projects linked to PPGBAIP, to sensitize local and foreign students about the importance of Graduate Programs in the country, encouraging the continuity of studies after stage undergraduate degree.
